On March 23, 1775 Patrick Henry gave his famous speech, “Liberty or Death” at the Virginia Convention to important government men. In this speech, Henry creates more than one appeal to win the audience over. Towards the beginning and throughout the speech, Henry uses an ethical appeal and from the middle, also throughout, he uses a logical appeal.
