I am writing this letter to highly recommend Shawna Moore as a candidate for employment in your school district. Initially, I met Shawna when she worked as a substitute teacher for my special education program. When she needed a more consistent schedule she asked to be considered for paraprofessional position. Fortunately, we were able to hire her to work in a class with students who had significant needs. When one of the students was transferred to a private facility, Shawna followed the student. In this role, Shawna served as an instructor at a private facility for students with significant behavior issues and/or autism. Upon request, Shawna transferred back to Keystone to work with a student who was being educated in a similar program …show more content…
In the nine years since I have known Shawna, I have never seen her walk away from a challenge, especially when it involves a child. She not only set high goals for herself, but she instills this drive in her students. She applauds them when they reach a goal, but can also provide the support when they fail.
Typically, a new teacher has a limited amount of experience and requires a significant support; however, with the experience and knowledge Shawna has obtained in the classroom, she will be an experienced teacher at a beginner’s salary. She not only has book knowledge; but she has practical experience in educating students and their families. She has worked with some of the most difficult students in our setting.
Shawna has many great talents, but I will address some that describes her performance in the classroom. I have found Shawna to be an excellent communicator. If she does not know or understand, she asks for clarification. In addition, she is extremely organized, reliable and creative and will follow directions of her supervisor. She can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that a job gets done. Shawna is flexible and willing to work on any project that is assigned to her. She is quick to volunteer to assist in others. Her biggest asset is that she cares about her students. Her students become attached to Shawna because they know her actions
Marti Newsom has proven to be a great asset and perfect addition to the English department at Dyersburg High School. I first met Mrs. Newsom two years ago when she became a member of the Dyersburg High School faculty. The administration recognized her commitment to education and work ethic that she would bring to the school. Many of the teachers that knew Mrs. Newsom were ecstatic that she was joining the faculty as our RTI teacher. Since day one, she has striven to increase student learning in all aspects of English.
Cover letter I am writing this letter as a preface to a proposal that could change this business for the best, should we come to some sort of agreement on the plans I have for us. We have been relatively popular and done fairly well as a business for years now, but recent setbacks have caused us to make decisions that hurt innocent employees, something that I never want to do again. I will say that I do not plan on changing our business at the core, all current positions will remain in place and we will operate as we normally do. In fact, if implemented correctly we will have more employment positions than we did before all of our recent unfortunate setbacks. I will admit that this change is far more obvious than revolutionary but I would rather
Michelle is a pleasant candidate that has good communication skills. She most recently worked for CorVel as a Physical Therapy Scheduler. When she first started at CorVel she was a Billing CSR and then she became a PT Scheduler. In this role, she would place outbound calls to schedule appointment for patients and verify personal and insurance information.
Even when she noticed students misbehaving she took care of it appropriately and was not too harsh with her punishments. In the article, “Mentor Skills You Should Have to be Successful” by Bogdan Radusinovic, a therapist, says, “Mentorship skills are vital for any professional working in this field. Aside from the ability to listen effectively and help people, this type of experience will enhance your resume. For every person who is pursuing a career, the knowledge and guidance of a good mentor are essential skills like inspiration and patience are essential” (2022). This shows how inspiration is very essential with being a
She’s got high goals that people can only dream of accomplishing. She’s not as outspoken as others, yet her dreams and goals speak louder than words. Her education is highly average and has a surprising interest for math. She’s always ahead of the game making every point towards her education count. Many people whom don’t know her as well think of her as an average student attending Sylmar High School.
She supports other children with their understanding in lessons which has been a great beginning to her consolidating her knowledge but also teaching others in a child friendly way.
Colette always displays her love of teaching during class. She is patient when helping her students, especially when they are struggling with a difficult task. She can always be seen working with students who need additional support, whether it be with their academics or their organizational skills before and after school. She goes above and beyond of what is expected until her students are able to understand and apply concepts that they are learning.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Briona Mcall, as your child’s new teacher in K-2 CDC special education class. I was recently hired at Holston View Elementary School as Mrs. McMurray is moving to Hong Kong to teach special education. We are excited for her and wish her the best. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Special Education from East Tennessee State University in 2015. I completed my student teaching in Bristol at Anderson Elementary and Tennessee High School
Everyday, she excels in her job of caring for the children and making a difference in the community. Due to her kindness she would always bring thoughtful gifts for the children. She doesn 't have to do the classes with the children everyday but she continues to do it like Sylvia says “school supposed to let out in the summer I heard, but she dont never let up” (Bambara 96). The lessons learned while earning her degree has lead her to becoming a positive role model in the children 's lives; nonetheless, teaching them lessons that may never learn from others. She shows her passion in the story by saying “she said, it was only her right that she take responsibility for the young ones’ education.
Interestingly, he was hired for the position of assistant principal in charge of special education not because of his sped teaching experience but because of the experience provided him by his two years performing manual labor. When he hires, Mr. Ludlow assumes the college or university has prepared the candidate to teach the content, whether special education or general education. So Mr. Ludlow looks beyond a candidate’s content-area knowledge base, seeking that varied experience and those people skills that allow teachers to build relationships with
One example is her involvement in the planning of the Colors of Spanish translator training series. The conference presenter was not familiar with RCOE’s process to provide services and encountered numerous obstacles when procuring the necessary documents, yet Catherine, while not coming across as condescending or abrupt, was able to guide her through the process and present different options to ensure the timely preparation of the consultant agreement. This culmination of patience and support allowed RCOE to bring in a high caliber presenter whose teachings will have a huge and positive impact on the non-English speaking students and families that receive services through districts in the counties of Riverside and San
In class projects, such as dissections, she is exceptionally professional, collaborative and enthusiastic. She has helped younger students in ‘buddy programs’, she volunteered to be a facilitator in the year 8 leadership camp and she was the leader of the chorus in the Student Theatre Company. She has always behaved as an exemplar student, has shown her reliability and commitment to the school community by helping in many school events and I have seen her spontaneously interacting with new or younger students to the school and offering her
This job really taught me about the importance of children having a routine to follow as well as the impact teachers can have on a child’s life. After my first year in college, I realized that I wanted to gain more experience with children of all ages. Shortly after,
I am writing to express my strong interest in working as a part time Customer Service Attendant as advertised recently on iworkfor.nsw.gov.au. I have worked in various customer service roles over the course of my career. In my current role with BOC, I am responsible for providing customer support to Customer Equipment Services team. When I worked at Oracle, I have achieved my sales targets, managed to cross sell Oracle products and maintained a good customer retention rate. I've also taken care of customer inquiries and orders, and provided with product and promotional information.
She is an alumni of Strongsville City Schools, formerly a teacher, assistant principal and building principal within the system.
