A Cal Poly Pomona alumnus with a long career in local law enforcement has been selected as the university’s next chief of police. Dario Robinson, a lieutenant with the San Bernardino Police Department, will take over as head of University Police on Jan. 25. Robinson’s selection as University Police chief returns him to the campus where he competed on the track team and earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral studies upon graduating in 1991. “I look forward to once again being part of the Cal Poly Pomona family, and to being a member of your public safety community,” Robinson says.
The Constitution limits power on Government through Checks and Balances. In a 1944 case between Korematsu and the United States during World War II, a presidential executive order gave the military authority to exclude citizens of Japanese descent from areas deemed critical to national defense and potentially vulnerable to espionage. Along with this they also arrested Japanese Americans and forced them into internment camps. Korematsu however, a US citizen from ancestry descent, refused to leave his home in San Leandro, California. Korematsu appealed, and in 1944 the case reached the Supreme Court.
On February 16, 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed into action for both the city police force and the campus police force. Proposed by Past President Dr. Jonathan Gibralter (2006-2015) in a joint effort with Frostburg Mayor Robert Flanigan, this MOU was the joint agreement between the two parties following a second horrendous crime off Frostburg State University’s campus in 2011. Part of the MOU that is discussed in Section V Funding for the Promotion of Public Safety, includes the university annually providing $200,000 for the purpose of providing assistance to the city to enhance and improve public safety for the citizens of the City of Frostburg. The funds for the MOU with the City of Frostburg come from the “state-supported” revenue. 97% of these funds come from the tuition paid by each student and the funding FSU receives from the state (hence the name: state-support).

Motlow State Community College does not offer a cafeteria for students at the Smyrna Center. Constructing a cafeteria at Motlow State Community College would be beneficial for everyone, including the staff and students. A cafeteria would offer convenience for students and staff, increase the attendance rate, and allow students to engage in social interactions with one another. Not only is cafeteria favorable for the Motlow State community, but it would multiply the revenue for the school. Predominantly, constructing a cafeteria will improve the Smyrna campus as a whole.
Math: According to classroom assessment, progress monitoring data, Wyatt can add one digit by one digit, identify place value up to one thousand, and round to the nearest ones, tens, hundreds and thousands. He struggles with recalling basic math facts, number sense, math reasoning, numerical operations and organizing multi-steps problem solving which impacts his function ability to work independently. he Miami School District will be making many strategic moves in regards to the negotiation of the school boundaries for the upcoming year, due to the increasing enrollment. There are many factors to consider when creating the new school boundary lines. These factors will not only affect primary stakeholders such as staffs and students, but these changes will also affect Parents and the communities. The most important factor to consider is concerns in regards to the quality of education the children will receive. The quality of students education is the primary purpose for redistricting.
