The article, published in September of 2014, is only one year old. Although the article is very recent, one of the two studies cited , “the marshmallow test”, was started in the 1960’s. Within the past fifty five years the lives of babies and toddlers has changed drastically. New techniques in raising children may have altered how they act in the current time period.
