Alcohol is abused daily from newly inexperienced drinkers in their teenage child hoods to older alcoholics that live on with their dreadful lives. People are consuming Alcohol beverages all hours of the day. The notice in alcohol contents is steadily increasing now more than the 1920’s when the 18 amendment was officially a federal law. Alcohol is changing year by year, causing more problems than helpfulness to human society in the twenty first century.
The most known commonly known alcohols are Isopropyl and Ethanol they're both used every day for cleaning wounds to be used as fuel for operating an automobile for and kinds of transportation. “Isopropyl is used to help fight bacteria in open cut wounds on humans and animals.”(Elaine 9) Ethanol is used for alcohol to be consumed to help but also destroy human lives. Liquor was not new to the American colonies, however, during this period, alcohol such as rum, rye whiskey, hard apple cider became readily available and affordable. Alcohol was consumed in mass quantity by men of high economics and politics persuasion as well as commoners, laborers and artisans. Many husbands spent their earnings on alcohol and had little money left to feed their families, causing quarrels in many household.
