According to Google, a popular website, freedom means, “the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.” This isn’t really true because, there is so much more to freedom. Freedom has many different definitions. It is more than a sentence on paper. Just like you are more than a human being.

Freedom has changed the United States in many ways. For example, The Civil War has been a huge part of history in America. The North believed in freedom of all slaves. The South wanted slaves so they could get more money. In the end, all the slaves found freedom. We still have many restrictions in the United States but without them, freedom would be nothing.
