The “American dream” is a phrase that can have many meanings to different people, but the American Dream is the dream that people in the U.S wishes it comes true. An immigrant, an alien, comes to this country searching for that dream. The American Dream is basically a legend about success, about overcoming obstacles, and is about living that victorious life we all wish to have. Me being an Immigrant I know how important is for someone who comes from a different background, a place with a different language, and a country with a different culture to actually become somebody in this country. We immigrants have to work twice as hard as a regular born-U.S citizen. But we can’t complain about it, because we all do it to be part of those people who have reached the american dream.
