Can we consider people as Good or Evil? People can be defined as neither good nor evil because many factors lead to us being a mixture of both. One of these factors is that we only have one perspective of life and the actions they do. This means we don 't have all the information to be able to form an opinion on them. Another factor is that we are unable to measure how good or bad an action is. This means that we can not say if the good actions they did outweigh the bad actions that they did in their life. These factors mean that we are unable to judge people and say whether they are good or bad. We can not measure how good or bad someone 's actions are. This means that we can not judge if someone is good or evil. Is giving food to the homeless just as good as saying please and thank you? Since we are unable to measure how good an action is we are also unable to measure if the good actions someone has done outweighs the bad actions someone has done. An example of this is Robin Hood. Robin Hood stole from the rich to give to the poor who were starving. We can not measure how bad stealing is and how good giving to the poor is. Therefore we can not say if the good that Robin Hood did outweighs the bad he did. As we can not measure how good or bad an action is we can also not measure if someone is good or bad. It is imperative to remember that there is no clear definition of good and evil. Everyone 's definition of good and evil is different. This definition can change depending on their upbringing, religion and events in their own life. This can be seen in a classroom. Everyone 's definition of good and evil will be different as they were all brought up differently. Without a clear definition of good and evil, we can not consider people as
Not all people have the same definition of evil. Evil can be expressed in many ways. Whether that be describing a person or giving a place a scary setting. Most though, think of evil as a person rather than a place. Those true qualities of evil help show if a person is a human monster.
Are people solely good or evil? Some others would reply yes, but Graham Greene the author of "The Destructors" would respond differently. He believes people aren 't just good or evil. The author reveals his belief through his characterization of Trevor and Blackie, along with his use of irony. The characterization of Trevor is one way the author reveals his belief that people aren 't just good or evil.
For an extreme example, a terrorist thinks he is doing the right thing by setting off a bomb. Many situations in life can put into action inherent good, and many people will channel this good. Inherent good can be difficult to explain, but many examples can explain it in great detail. Nobody is born with the intention of being a bad person. Sometimes people believe that the evil people in the world have always been bad, but that is incorrect.
The reality is that good and evil cannot be divided due to a difference of beliefs. This means that a person may see something as evil that another person see as good.
Some people could be born with evil souls and some could be born with good souls and the reason we are always fighting with each other is because it’s evils opinion against goods opinion. Or are we all born with a nutreal soul and then decide to be either good or evil based on the type of enviroment they grew up in. The most popular opinion is that people are born evil but choose to do good things to make up for it and
Although everyone has the capacity to act good, there is also evil within everyone and it is only
This shows why Hobbes believed in the monarchial form of government. Good is considered as morally righteous and evil is moral wrongdoing. I think that humans are inherently evil because they have to make an effort
This is because we cannot officially define what the words “good” or “evil” really mean. The answer depends on the opinion of the person being asked. Many people believe that we can be born bad. However, there exists a significantly stronger argument that people are indeed born good. There is factual evidence that supports this claim.
There are billions of people in the world. They all start as small infants, then grow up. But not everyone turns out the same as the next. Some turn out to be truly evil beings. The truth is, many humans have done acts of evil, but no one is born evil.
One normally goes through many experiences which can lead them to do an action that may be considered evil. Doing evil and actually being labeled evil are two different things that can affect an individual's life
There are even those who can be both at the same time, they are good to their loved ones and evil towards their enemies. Evil is a simple word that we learn at a young age and that we understand is bad. However, our youth and innocence prevents us from knowing the weight the word holds. As our understanding of evil develops, we begin to see evil all around us. Although we hold common societal definitions of evil, each person is bound to view evil slightly different from others. Someone might consider alcoholism evil, while others consider it normal: someone might believe racism is evil, while others believe it is natural.
Humans are complex creatures. Understanding human nature is difficult, but the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding helps to show what true human nature looks like. Humans are inherently evil, but that evil is hidden by societal dictates. Throughout the novel, the human societal mask is stripped away and true human nature can be seen. Society enforces rules and trends that people feel they must follow.
If a person knows what is ‘good’, then their manner of behaviour will always be good, as they possess the knowledge of how to do so. If a person acts in a ‘bad’ or evil way, this is simply because they lack the knowledge of how to act in a virtuous manner. For Socrates, it was simply a case of knowledge being conducive to good behaviour, and ignorance being conducive to bad behaviour. No-one chooses to act in an evil way, according to Socrates. We aim for good behaviour but fall short of
