This shows that Harriet has great leadership skills, and she is very heroic. Doc C also states that Harriet recruited about 100 freed slaves to fight slavery in the Union army. Tubman accomplished many things in her life and was successful in everything she did, her priority and passion was to help others. The four accomplishments we are looking at are Harriet Tubman’s help as a conductor, a spy, a nurse, and a caregiver. Out of these, I think Harriet Tubman’s greatest achievement was her time as a spy. After escaping from her slave house, Harriet Tubman joined in helping in an escape route for all run-away slaves. Sometime in the 1820’s, a white man named John Rankin started putting a lantern up in the air for fleeing slaves to know that his house was safe.
