What Are The Reasons For Hamlet's Odd Behavior

Act II
Scene 1: Polonius sends his servant, Reynaldo to inquire into his son, Laertes’s conduct. He taught Reynaldo how to obtain this information carefully. Later, Ophelia tells her father that Hamlet’s odd behaviors and doesn’t keep in touch with him anymore. Her father lately realizes that Hamlet was indeed deeply in love with Ophelia, so he knows that Hamlet’s madness is the result of Ophelia’s rejection. Thus, her father tells Claudius and Gertrude that the reason for their son’s odd behavior.
Scene 2: Claudius decides to find out the reasons for Hamlet’s madness and he has summoned two of Hamlet’s school friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, both to comfort his son. The king and queen allow Polonius to loose Ophelia on Hamlet while …show more content…

Then, Polonius and Claudius begin their plan to loose Ophelia n Hamlet. But, Hamlet seems to know that Ophelia isn’t honesty. Claudius then thinks that Hamlet is mad for some hidden reason, but not because of his love of Ophelia. Polonius suggest to arrange a private interview between Hamlet and his mother.
Scene 2: Hamlet instructs the players on the art of acting and tells them to act naturally. Hamlet asks his friend to assist him in watching the king’s response to the play they are about to see. The act makes Claudius feel angry and want to end the play. because he thinks that the player was actually himself in real life. Then, Gertrude has ordered Hamlet to see her in her chamber. At the end, Hamlet says he will be cruel to his mother due to her crime of marrying Claudius, but he will not actually hurt her.
Scene 3: When Hamlet meets with his mother, the king looks into his soul. He is vainly attempting to pray because he committed murder, his crown and his wife. Then, Hamlet comes up behind him and thinks that he finally has an opportunity to kill him and revenge his father. However, he doesn’t kill him because he would go to heaven if Claudius killed.
