The people accused in the West Memphis Three case were Jessie Misskelley, Damien Echols, and Jason Baldwin. These boys didn’t have a sufficient amount of evidence to be charged guilty. A few reasons they were considered guilty is because, Jessie Misskelley did confess several times witnessing these children being killed. Jesse Misskelley also had mentioned he has partaken in satanic worships. Guilty evidence against Damian Echols consists of girls saying that he has killed the boys, and that he wrote in a different alphabet. There was also a “Book of Shadows” found in Echols bedroom. Jason Baldwin had fibers of his clothing found on the victim's clothes, and there was a knife found outside of his house in a lake. A prosecutor had said
This case is a great example of how your personal behavior can contribute to a wrongful conviction. The brutal murder of three boys in West Memphis appeared to be related to a satanic ritual. The police asked for a list of everyone in town who was on probation and could be involved in any satanic beliefs. None of them had enough evidence to be proved guilty. However, Lizzie Borden had the most, the daughter of andrew and Abby Borden. She was believed to be the murderer, but she was let off innocent because she still didn't have enough evidence to be proved guilty. In my opinion, Lizzie did murder her parents and is fairly guilty. LIzzie Borden is guilty because no one else could have done it.
Damien Echols was a 17 year old dropout at the time of the crime. He had been previously hospitalized because of his psychiatric problems and attempted to drink his own blood in hospital. He WAS put on suicide watch during his time in the hospital as well as claiming he was going to be the next Charles Manson or Ted Bundy. Although he was a suspect, the only thing tying Echols to the case was the blue wax on the boys shirts and the polyester cub scout hat fiber that was found on a shirt at his house (“The West Memphis Three Trials: An Account”). Another thing that was played upon was the fact that Damien also believed in practicing magic, as well as the fact he already had a criminal record for burglary and sexual misconduct (The Encyclopedia of Arkansas History and

Innocence is is a lack of guilt, with respect to any kind of crime, or wrongdoing. In a legal context, innocence refers to the lack of legal guilt of an individual, with respect to a crime. When someone commits an act there is usually a reason behind it, no matter how ridiculous. However, in rare circumstances it seems impossible to identify a driving force. This seems to have been the case for the Columbine massacre that occurred in April of 1999. Many professionals have dedicated countless hours to drawing a conclusion as to why Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris terrorized their school and murdered their fellow classmates. By using the clues and evidence, some have managed to draw very strong arguments as to why the two teens committed the outrageous deeds they did.
There was not much done on these young men murders but the federal government brought charges of civil rights violations against those that was involved in the murder. There was eighteen men involved in the murder but only seven was convicted in 1965. The FBI worked the case to bring justice to these innocent young men. The two carloads of Klan members pursed the the boys and reached them on a local road.
Father to son relationships are a major part of growth and maturity because they teach the son useful skills for life, and the father learns how to properly understand their son’s life and the things changing in the world. Learning how to argue and learning how to agree are important parts of life that this relationship is good at teaching. Fathers and sons that are facing conflict is one of the major themes of Mississippi Trial, 1955, this is illustrated through the relationships of Hiram and his father; Hiram’s father (Harlan) and Hiram’s Grandfather (Earl); and R.C. and his father. One of the father son relationships shown in Mississippi Trial, 1955 is between Hiram and Harlan, his father.
