The yacht was heading for Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Whitney and Rainsford were hunters and talking with each other how they haunt the animals in Amazon River basin. Whitney found an island known as "Ship trap" and many sailors have fear of the island. during the midnight Rainsford heard the voice of an animal screech and gunshot. He ran towards the deck but he slips on the railing and falls into the sea. he asked for help but no one listen to him and he swims to the island and sleep until next afternoon. He wakes up and follow the footprints of the hunter and finds a large house.
