To be a true American you must respect the American concepts of freedom, equality, individualism, and democracy. Whether it’s through loyalty or ambition, a true American fulfills their obligations, like obeying state laws or respecting the opinions of others. James Maddison not only meets these requirements, but he fulfills the expectations and challenges on what it means to be a true American. James Madison is not only loyal and ambitious but can also be defined as a true American due to his aspiration, devotion, and his idea in constructing the fundamentals of our government. James Madison has the true dedication and effort to being a part of the United States. He was a key supporter for the ratification of the Constitution, playing a huge role in shaping the nation's political structure as it is today. He firmly believed in democracy, and the idea that all people deserved equal representation and rights. “Madison's loyalty to America can be seen through his tireless efforts to build a strong and stable government that would help America”.
