I am a climber, to be precise, I am an explorer.
When I look into my academic career closely, I also see the same me here, the same exploring nature. I am that kind of person who is keen to explore my surrounding problems and try to make an effort to solve those. I am really lucky that I have got the chance to complete my undergrad from BUET, the best engineering university in Bangladesh.
It was the beginning of my senior year, when I was first introduced to machine learning, through the course Artificial Intelligence (CSE 401), which subsequently helped me to get acquainted with its manifold applications in data science. My first project was to implement a “Medical diagnostic system” with the help of supervised learning. This was the time when I realized how much helpful will data science be on pursuing my goal of solving social problems. I also worked on an interesting project on data science, titled “Data Clustering on Academic Data”. This project was focused on analyzing a big student dataset to predict the student behavior, their academic prospect, result evaluation. Besides these two, numerous projects on data mining, closer to our real life have turned me to a thirsty learner to learn more about Data Science.
After completion of my undergrad life, I decided to join a company where I can get the chance to work with huge

I feel extensive passion for Data Mining. The whole world is approaching towards Machine Learning and I strongly believe this is the era of Data Mining. My goal is straight and simple; I want to apply my experience on the advancement of Estonia’s ongoing tech revolution by joining any of the giant software company there after my master’s. My country, Bangladesh, is a developing country with a high potential to reach its peak in social and technological development. So, in future, I intend to use my expertise to improve the situation of my country
As a low-income, first-generation Mexican American/college graduate, my personal identities and experiences uniquely position me to contribute to RFU’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts (DEI). Through my journey, I have encountered various challenges and triumphs that have shaped my perspective and deepened my commitment to promoting DEI in healthcare and beyond. My lived experience growing up in an economically disadvantaged and medically underserved community has heightened my awareness of the healthcare disparities and inequities that exist, especially being raised in a traditional Hispanic household. It has fueled my passion to address these issues and advocate for accessible, culturally sensitive, and equitable healthcare.
Eagerness to learn, attention to details, and willingness to put in required effort and time, all qualities I wish to continue to practice as a student in AP English 12. As a student of organization and willingness to participate in classroom discussions and interactions, I believe those attributes of me as a student set me up for success in this class. My enthusiasm in learning has been a leading factor in my decision to apply for this rigorous course my senior year. While there are other options available this is the course best suited for me due to my attention to details and readiness to dedicate time and effort into this class. As an AP English student I am mainly interested in continuing to practice and develop reading and writing skills
Personal Statement- Stephanie Olivera Growing up I was always the odd one in our family. When my parents started having children, they did not plan us very well. I am 5 years younger than my older brother, 4 years younger than my sister and 8 years older than my younger brother. I was the child that did not have anyone to "play" with, and I grew accustomed to being alone.
Many people come across roadblocks through their journey of life. I know I've had my fair share of them. The biggest bump in my academic life was changing it completely upside down. Growing up african American or with any skin that holds the slightest of pigment is not easy, but that's obvious due to our nation's past. Racism and stereotypeing has always been there.
There are many positive attributes and assets that I possess. One of them is I am hard working; this will help our FFA chapter because I will venture to make a better and stronger chapter. Another positive attribute is I am reliable; I will strive to be at all of the meetings and activities that the chapter will bestow upon me. Last of all, I am a leader because I am passionate about the things I do while being open minded to the opinions of others. The FFA Chapter has many activities for members to participate in.
At the age of ten being raised by minority parents was very difficult for me at the time. At the age of ten I was forced for my English and Spanish vocabulary to be very proficient due to always translating for my parents. At that age learning both languages was annoying, frustrating, and difficult; however that experience shaped me to be a proficient bilingual nurse present and gain benefits by being bilingual. The benefits where the many open job opportunities with the increase pay. This experience also assisted to raise my daughter to speak and write both languages actively although just not the way my parents forced it on me.
Personal Statement I come from a large family with relatives from a little ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico. Many of which have never made it past grade school. Mainly due to their mother, my grandma, she had fallen very ill. Due to her condition and lack of money my aunts and uncles dropped out of school to work and help pay for her medication and medical expenses. The older siblings had to take care of the younger siblings.
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I have swam against the current in order to be where I am today, where I have dreamt of being. I am currently a second year student at Trinity Washington University majoring in biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. I am a dedicated student and an analytical and skilled critical thinker who is eager to learn.
Reflecting on my educational and practical experiences, I appreciate the infinite influence that teachers have on children. I realise that children will take the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom and use it throughout their lives. I know a teacher has to deal with many daily pressures and challenges, in the classroom. However, I feel I require the skills needed to deal with these challenges. As a teacher I hope not only to be an educator but a positive role model, whom the children can look up to and trust.
Social work is a career that I have recently become interested in pursuing. I spent many years with misconceptions concerning the sector. However, following three years of working close by these experts, I have picked up a more profound comprehension of the significance of the work. I am especially interested in working in child welfare along with terminally ill children. I have got to a stage in my career where I have started to search out instruction that will make me more efficient in creating plans and providing services for vulnerable people.
The more I don’t know, the more I know. The more I realize I don’t understand, the more I discover my desire to know more about psychology. My interest in educational psychology was triggered by my first experience in changing schools.
Cybersecurity has become a growing cause for concern in the United States and indeed countries around the world. On February 9, 2016 President Barack Obama announced his Cybersecurity National Action plan (CNAP) to further the nations efforts to protect government agencies, citizens, and businesses from cyber threats domestic and abroad. However, cybersecurity is not a new issue in fact it is as old as the internet itself. With that said, I keep thinking back to that warm September day stained with the image of an enormous fireball engulfing our small TV set. This horrific day changed the course of history forever along with my future career path.
PERSONAL STATEMENT (NURFATIN BT MOHD SHAH) I want to further my study in this course because it is thrilling and rapidly- moving subject area, that is highly pertinent to the problem facing by society today. As far as I concern, cardiovascular disease is one of the popular cause of death. I am keen to learn more and involve in the latest advances in cardiovascular research. Over the years of studying, my interest in this area has increased.
My interests lies in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and Data Mining and use these disciplines to contribute in the fields of science and business. The learning climate at University will teach me to think radically, boost my confidence and broaden my perspective. The Master’s program in Computer Science at the sound academic environment will help me achieve my true potential. It is therefore, just the right place that will prepare me with exceptional academic and professional skills and enhance my personal growth.
Information technology professionals study how to make information systems work to best solve problems, leading to their application in various fields. Information technology is focused primarily on processing information I have attended my degree in Information Technology from Makerere University Uganda. Throughout my studies, I would like to build on my already existing knowledge and skills attained from my
