Buffalo Breakwater Light
“Buffalo, New York”
Built: 1961
This 71-foot tall structure sits at the end of an outer detached breakwater on the Lake Erie shore near the Buffalo River. It was built to replace an 1872 lighthouse that had been knocked off its foundation by a freighter.
