Burlington Canal Main Light
“Burlington, Ontario, Canada”
Built: 1856
“This light stands alongside a lift bridge that stretches over the Burlington Canal. The round, four-story stone tower replaced a wooden one built in 1838 which burned down after being ignited by sparks from a passing steamer entering Lake Ontario.”
