Port Maitland Outer Range Light
“Port Maitland, Ontario”
Built: 1848
This light sits at the end of a long concrete pier that juts into Lake Erie at the mouth of the Grand River. It has a white square base with the second and third levels tapering to support the lantern room. A series of metal poles hold electric wires which run out to the light.
