Presque Isle Light (MI)
“Presque Isle, Michigan”
Built: 1870
“The second lighthouse at Presque Isle (not really an island, but a peninsula) replaced the shorter structure one mile to the south. At over 100 feet tall it is the tallest light structure on the Great Lakes, and is still in service. The attached dwelling has been converted to a museum and gift shop. (Photo 1994, Trip #19)”
