If you are interested in a high school rom-com movie that ends like every other high school rom-com, then you should probably stay and read the rest of this review because it could help you figure out whether to watch this movie or not. For example, at the beginning of the movie, Cameron is interested in Bianca despite Cameron liking her, Bianca decides that she is not interested in him because she would rather date Joey. Eventually, Bianca realizes that Joey isn’t a good person and ends up falling for Cameron. Another instance of character development was when Patrick was originally paid to date Kat, but ultimately decides that he no longer wants to get paid to date her because he ends up developing real feelings for her. For example, there is the bully who has wealthy parents and wants to date the popular pretty girl and every guy wants to date her but in the end, the nice guy is allowed to date her. It also has the same plot as every other high school rom-com movie. The plot is about a new guy at school and he likes the popular girl. He ends up getting the girl and the bully gets beaten up and embarrassed in front of the school. There also weren’t a lot of funny moments in it. Overall, it seemed more like a serious rom-com movie instead of a funny rom-com.
I say watch the movie and decide for yourself what you think of it. You may like it but you also may not. If you watch it, maybe you can write a review too, to help others decide whether to watch it.
