Without social interactions and socialization, nothing would be resolved in the show. Hannah’s tapes led to socializing. When Clay received them, he no longer was the quiet kid. He talked to everyone involved in the tapes to try and understand why they treated Hannah the way they did. A lot of fighting was involved due to offensive words, lies, and self- defense in the school and out. The parties thrown allowed everyone to meet new people and make new memories with different friends. Advice was given frequently in the show to help them out. All the characters had a different reason as to why they were on Hannah’s tapes and different reactions afterwards. Some of them said she was lying and other felt guilty for allowing her to feel so bad about herself. In class, pictures and rumors were sent around the school which created more controversy. This lead to more physical altercations and yelling towards one another. Last but not least, social interactions were made in court. Without Hannah’s mom, taking her daughter’s case to court, a lot of pieces to the puzzle would have never been found. New information would have never been found about Hannah and her relationship towards her former friends. In court, new truths were revealed and some lies remained the same, but without everybody up on the witness stand, Hannah’s suicide could’ve been an unsolved case
