This includes collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and studying data. The goal is to bring perpetrators to justice and keep everyone safe by following the law. They help investigators gain more evidence, identify witnesses, and can be used to provide visual evidence in court. Lvt.com says, “Proponents say real-time surveillance camera access allows police to evaluate scenes, respond faster, and possibly identify witnesses, evidence, and even suspects before officers arrive.” Using forensic evidence and the advancement of technology, investigations have improved plenty compared to the 1930s.
