Computer’s have cameras and some people think that they are getting spied on. People put stickers and tape and other stuff on it so they will not be able to see them and not get spied on. In 1984 by George Orwell, Orwell talks about how people do not have right to express them self and citizens can't get married or have kids. There are telescreens everywhere so big brother is watching all day and night. If big brother does not like something or someone they disappear forever and it will never see it ever it again. The party in 1984 commands and retains absolute power in society by brainwashing, constant monitoring of their citizens, and propaganda. Winston and julia Woke up together and they were hearing a lady singing and they were lay in bed together when out of nowhere a painting falls and land on the floor and there is a telescreen that just saw julia and And winston in bed. Julia and winston says they can see us,now we can see you so telescreen tells julia and winston to get up and stand back to back and wait for the thought police to get there. Winston enters a bar and sees this man winston start to ask the old man questions about the war in the past but the old guy doesn't want to say nothing about the war because of the telescreen. Winston enters a pub and begin speaking to an old man about the time before the war. The man refuses to talk about the war because the telescreen is there(Orwell) . If they get caught talking about the war they will get killed because your not suppose to talk about the past. You can't not have relationship with someone or get Married with someone because the party doesn't like that so it banned. You can't talk about the past Because it has been erased and when something is erased you can talk about it
