The American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of ethics “enables the association to clarify to current and future members, and to those served by the members, the nature of the ethical responsibilities held in common by its members” (ACA, 2014). Code of Ethics constantly needs revision as changes occur in the profession. Revisions of Code of Ethics are necessary to expand knowledge and to deal with the trending issues.
