2013 -- The second-generation Ford Fusion rolls out and features an all-new design, a larger frame, and an available MyTouch telematics system. Ford replaces all but the base engine, adding a pair of turbo engines as well, displacing at 1.6 and 2.0 liters, the latter with available all-wheel drive. The 2013 Fusion offers three grade levels: S, SE, and Titanium. A hybrid variant returns; a plug-in hybrid model known as the Fusion Energi rolls out.

The Fusion also modifies its powertrain offerings, delivering a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
