The 2015-2016 NBA Schedule has been released and it provides a lot of interesting match ups. Many fans took a look at the schedule and started planning their day around it. This year’s schedule will be pretty interesting for the Lakers as they have some key games that highlight the 2015-16 schedule. There were a few things that caught my eye about the Lakers schedule that should be noted, From the Christmas Match up against the Clippers to the number of national TV games the Lakers get this year. Overall, Laker fans everywhere will be excited for this season and will have some expectations for this team. Season Opener features the #1 and #2 Picks- The Lakers open the season against the Minnesota Timberwolves which will feature the #1 pick in Karl Anthony Towns and the Lakers #2 pick in D’Angelo Russell. This will be the two’s NBA debut and many fans can’t wait to see the beginning of both of their careers. This will be Laker fans first real look at D’Angelo Russell in an actual game and though he’ll likely not start the game (Just a guess) look for him to get some good playing time. This game will also mark the return of Kobe Bryant in what could be his last NBA Season. What’s so ironic about this, is that Kobe will be returning against the team the Lakers played when he passed Michael Jordan in all time scoring. It’s sure to be an exciting game for Laker fans all over. …show more content…

A fairly young Lakers team will match up against a Clippers team that’s looking to contend for an NBA championship. This will be a Lakers home game so you know everyone including celebrities will be out in full force for this one. This will be one of the many test for this team, and what a statement they’ll make with a win against their division
