Title: Motivations and the consequences of our expansionism of the early 20th Century America focus was based on creating an empire and restoring economic issues and gaining resources. Instead, America decided to collaborate with other countries like Cuba for instance helping with their needs and helping to restore their country’s nation. President Theodore wanted the Rough Riders to join the war in the Spanish American in Cuba since the war would be taking place in the Spanish colony and the ships would be heading towards that direction in territory for war ( Goldfield, 2014 Pg. 631). America’s intentions was to help reshape the country of Cuba by reorganizing the educational success and school buildings. Also to help benefit America’s business and recognition for its good deeds giving a helping hand to another country to help their economy to succeed and be a better place for all citizens and the government itself. And the Cubans didn’t complain and they were satisfied. America have everything any other country could ever want far as other countries not being as competitive like America and no other country standards wasn’t as greater when it came to investments and trades with doing business with other countries. America goal is to achieve with population in wealth and power. Even politics and individuals wanted America to be a successful nation hoping that America imperialism could take an affect and hopefully America maybe would do some things similar to the Europe
