In the last two years, 20th Century Fox has been on the verge of raising the bar for the rest of the industry. Figure1 shows that 20th Century Fox has a total of domestic gross and an international gross income respectively of $1.51 and 4.21 billion in 2014 for 13 films released. According to these two tables total gross increased from 2013 to 2014. There are three films have grossed large proportions of gross income in 2014 which explain this changing. “X-Men: Days of Future Past” achieved 744.3 million, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” reached to 703.4 million, and “How to Train Your Dragon 2” achieved 615.8 million. According to the two tables, domestic gross represented 35 % of the worldwide Gross in the two years 2013/2014. That implies that the US movies market is more effective than international movies market, so 20th Century Fox needs to more focusing on the domestic
