3 Types of Theories That Appeal To Me Nathan Grissom University of Colorado At Colorado Springs There are many types of theories in communication that we use in everyday because we use theories to organize a broad range of experiences into smaller categories by paying attention and by our communication situations. Theories take us where we choose to look and what we seek. In this paper three theories will be brought into a real-life situation that I have had before and what I did and how does it relate to a theory. Online education for me is nice because you can access it with almost anytime and anywhere learning ability. Colleges are recognizing that online learning is increasingly becoming more popular. I have used online courses since my time at PPCC (Pikes Peak Community College) since my Fall 2015 semester and I had enjoyed how easy and last stress I had in the courses I had taken. It almost has the same format at UCCS but when I first tried to access something it was more of a challenge and as I got familiar with their system it became a bit easier to understand and I was able to complete what I needed done for the class. A great example of me doing this would be the cognitive uncertainty because I work in a retail store known as Sprouts Farmers Market. I always think to myself; What do my managers think of me? What do I need to improve on? Do I need to step up my game to please? Just a few questions I have always wanted answers to my sometimes I do see the answers in front of me without going to my employer about. When my store I am it gets busy I tend to make sure I go to every cashier so they are not having to worry about bagging but focusing on getting the items down the cashier lanes so I can bag the customers groceries at an efficient speed and making sure that all fragile stuff goes on the top so nothing gets smashed or broken or bruised etc. I have seen a lot of my people in position who do not do that and it I try to let them know that I think it is a great idea if they tried it that way they can see if it pleases the customer and makes the customer come back in to our store. I also am trained to run the cashier lanes so if one cashier needs to go on break and lunch or does not come into work the store usually will call me asking if I can come in or fill in for that person, so I know that I can help but that sometimes feels like uncertainty reduction theory again because I get
