As I began to finish the book 419 by Will Ferguson, I began to notice some changes in Laura, Nnamdi, Amani and Winston. The predictions I have made in my first journal have either happened the way I predicted or were a total different reaction then what I had originally thought. There was still a great amount of long term changes happening within the Curtis family. By the end of the book I was very satisfied with what I had read. Remember when, I thought that Mr. Curtis’ accident wasn’t a suicide. I was right, the 419er’s were sent to kill Henry Curtis after they had recieved his money because he knew too much about Mrs.Sandra. As I previously stated in my first journal, the Curtis Family got an email saying “We are the Mafia, we will find you and kill you”. After this happens Laura is dumbfounded as Detectives Saul and Brisebois, and articulate members of the Calgary Police Commission, go through files that the Economic Crime Unit retrieved from her father’s hard drive.
