The benefits of belonging to a youth organization or club is that you grow physically, mentally, and spirtually while also gaining life skills and character skills. 5. A volunteer activity that would be appropriate for a younger child versus a teenager would be Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Boy scouts are divided into Cub Scouts for younger children. Boy Scouts focuses on pre-teens and teens, while Cub Scouts focuses on 7-10 year olds. Each activity has different age ranges, so their activites would be age appropriate.
