Do you believe that innocent people should be punished for what others have done? Imagine this, you are a doctor and you are payed five hundred thousand dollars a year. Someone at the hospital makes a critical mistake and loses the hospital millions. Instead of the one worker being fired, everyone that works there takes a huge pay cut and now only make three hundred thousand per year. Did your opinion change? At recess, I am one of the good doctors, and a couple seventh graders are the doctors who made mistakes. The result was seventh and eighth grade can no longer mix in sports. The main issue that I hate at our school, is that whenever there is a problem with only a few people, everyone loses their privileges. During a week of soccer games last year, a few sixth graders (now seventh graders) were mad that some of the now-eighth graders were playing soccer with them, their solution was to be as aggressive as possible so that we would just leave. They became so aggressive that a few of the older players got a bunch of bruises. By the end of the week, the Vice Principal 's decision was that each grade could no longer mix in recess sports. In previous years, the same kid has caused problems in basketball and soccer, both situations resulting in everyone losing the sport, basketball for three weeks, and soccer for three days because it was the end of the year. To me, it seems like the kid 's parent does not want him to have to lose his recess, or seem like a bad kid to everyone else. Again, at the end of last year 's events, instead of him and his friends losing recess for an amount of time or getting detention or even suspension, they were able to keep playing soccer, but the older kids had to stay with the other four in their grade who still played
