Youtube as an entity has had as big of a cultural impact on present day life as 9/11 has, as the plethora of changes on our society proves. A lot of them may be unseen, but should be emphasized more as they have helped shape our modern society. America has culturally diffused with multiple other countries due to this worldwide phenomenon, with a big example being Gangnam Style by Psi, which seemingly became a fad over night. When searching through the website, you’ll notice it’s broad range of provided content. This vast material is due to all of the different people uploading to Youtube on a daily and/or weekly basis. Therefore, you have content of literally everything under the sun, right there for anyone to view. Originally, they set out to create an instant video sharing website after searching for videos pertaining to multiple world events, to find none were attainable over the Internet.
