Geraldine’s focus on maximizing profits and labor specialization in the workplace environment only reinforces the classical management/organizational perspective that workers/followers only have physical and economic needs. Workers are not seen as human resources, but tools to simply get the job done. Geraldine’s classical perspective of management prioritizes maximizing profits and shareholder value, controlling and monitoring workers through standards and delivering goods and services.
