Due to the very big male influence in the country, many women have not been able to get proper education and career. Instead, they have been forced to get married and start a family while the men are the breadwinners. Some parts of Saudi Arabia are very dangerous for women as well, many women aren’t able to leave their houses because of the hazardous conditions there are. As I have also mentioned previously many women and young girls are trafficked in Saudi Arabia and forced to go into sex work such as prostitution. Stage 3: Company: I chose to do Roots for the Canadian company. It is a privately held company it was founded in Toronto, Ontario and their headquarters are also located there as well. The owners of this widely successful company are Michael Budman and Don Green, they found it in 1973 and they currently have 120 stores in North America and 65 in Asia and have 2000 employees in Canada. However, if anyone wanted a durable and stylish bag to carry to work, school, or to a small vacation or road trip, it is very a multipurpose product. The target market is mainly male late teens and adults, since women usually do opt for something that is more chic and feminine, this product is more masculine and sturdy. I don’t think they would purchase it that much because it is a one-time purchase, however, it could be purchased for multiple people and it is pricier than regular day to day items. It does last a long time but after a few years people may want to get another one. The product does not interfere with any traditions, habits or beliefs and for that it is really good because Saudi Arabian businesses are really sensitive with the types of products they enter in their market.
