For example, when Marc's sister passed away the mother lost it and left the husband and the son. This is a good example of Feminist criticism because she had no reason to leave her family due to the fact she lost her daughter. She was only worried about herself she did care about how the relationship between her son and husband were anymore. Another thing that ties that to feminist criticism is the fact that she let her daughter's death not only hurt but destroy the whole family and put the,m through more pain. Another part inside of the story where we see feminist criticism a lot is when his mother finds a new man. When she finds a new man it creates more pain and grief for young Marc. When she meets this new guy she does not worry or notice Marc's grieving and depression. This shows another big part of feminist criticism because she let another man who just entered her life take her own son from her. This ruins her and her son's relationship with each other creating more problems in the story. As the reader, we see this in the beginning mostly because his mother is not in the story much in the middle or
