C IS FOR CALIFORNIA My mom grew up in California. Thats about all I know. She moved to Kansas after many other journeys around the world, and thats where she lives now. Some of my family still lives their, my three uncles, my grandparents, and other cousins. I don 't see them very often, but when I do, I have a great time with them. Many of them are my age, some of them are older and some of them are younger. We don 't visit often, because its a ways away, but when we do, we have a great time. The best trip I have had to California was last year. We drove out, taking so many gadgets and cloths that my feet couldn 't touch the ground of the back seat in my mothers car. When we were finally in the state of California, we turned of the screen and looked around. It was the opposite of where we had come from. There were forest instead of fields. Mountains instead of plains. We drove and drove, until we arrived at our destination : Cambria Pines California. It was a camp along side a beach. There were log cabins and a big cabin for eating breakfast. There were trees and small trails to walk on. When we arrived, there were already some people their. Most of them I recognized, but there were that I didn 't. There were some of our cousins that lived in Kansas with us. I greeted them and looked around. The place was mostly empty. There were some people inside the kitchen. These people I didn 't recognize. I wasn 't sure whether they where just there to cook for us. I walked on the trail, and ran into an aunt of mine. I greeted her and she greeted me. I told her briefly about our long trip, and we continued on our paths, heading in opposite directions. At the cabins, witch were along the path, towards the end of it, I met some cousins that lived some blocks away from me, in Kansas. I asked when they had gotten there, "Just some hours ago." was all I got as an answer. I continued on the short troll down the curvy lane through the forest. I didn 't meet anyone on the journey, but when I got back to the head courters, there were many more vehicles parked in the parking lot. It was time to eat. I ran down to get
