What is a Design Engineer? A Design Engineer is a person that participates in many types of engineering such as civil, electrical, nuclear, mechanical, and etc. They work with products and systems that involve a particularly high level of science and mathematics skills thus it being physics engineering. Unlike some other engineering courses/ careers that may not need for you to have any scientific knowledge to be successful for that in that field, to be a Design Engineer you must have some sort of education in science and math to succeed. Some duties as a Design Engineer is creating drawings for the prototype and then for the final drawings for the ending product. Also they think and research already existing products and see how it can be improved overall for the better. In this field of work you would be working with a lot of other organizations such as sales and marketing. Then when you have all of your research done and know who, what, and where your product is being sold to you'll have to draw up a prototype by using computer software and see if that's how you would want the product to be like and make as many corrections as needed before it can be moved on to the next step. Then after getting the basics of the product done you would have to present the product and show you audience how the product works and get some approval/ support from them. Finally when the product has been approved and their are no more justifications needed you'll then test the safety of the product then let the product get released for the world to
