Essay for QA/ “A Christmas Carol” Personally, I like the filmed version of “A Christmas Carol” better than the written version. I think that it has a synthetic feeling, and you really know what is happening. Just some of the details in the movie are spot on. It shows emotion, feeling, action, horror. The tone really goes into depth of what the director is trying to show us, unlike the written version. In the filmed version and the written version of, “A Christmas Carol” there are many differences. In the written version, Marley had been dead for many years but in the movie it says he just dies earlier. In the book, Scrooge had fell asleep in his bed and the spirit had woken him up but in the movie he fell asleep and the clock had woken his up. In the book he had a pimple on his face and was embarrassed as a kid, but in the movie that was never brought up. …show more content…

Such as, the clock always makes the bell ring when a spirit comes upon scrooge. The ghost of Christmas past came first, then the ghost of Christmas present, then future. The grave that the spirit, Christmas future pointed to was Scrooges. Scrooge starts crying when he realizes what he could lose. Tiny tim does not die, he can walk again and he is not sick.
