As a consumer, we feel that when we go to the store, we have freedom to choose what we want to eat. However, that freedom is limited and we do not even realize it. Stores choose what to have in stock and we are persuaded to buy the things they have. Let us go back to where the food we see today started to evolve.
I believe that when Patrick Henry said that he “smelt a rat” he meant that he saw a problem. When someone says that they”smelt a rat” it means that they issue a problem and don’t agree with it. As Patrick Henry said, I think he was talking about the constitution. He believed that the constitution wasn't its best work and they needed to re-establish it. “ I wish the constitution which was offered had been more perfect, but I sincerely believe that it could be the best that could be obtained.”
