In most mythologies the raven is an omen for death, in A Game of Thrones the three-eyed raven leads Bran and Rickon to Ned Stark’s tomb. Robert Baratheon’s battle weapon is a war-hammer like Thor of Norse Mythology. Ned Stark is much like Tyr. They both care for honor and righteous judgments.
