In your lifetime, have you ever thought of truth, perception, and reality? About how much the truth can cause and do to something? Well, let us find out. The topic of this essay is to explain to the reader how there are multiple sides of Truth. We can see it from different points of views, same narrator but different story line. The texts Nothing But the Truth, by Avi and “The Tell-Tale Heart disclose a relative theme about Truth and the relationship among Truth, Perception, and reality by explaining what exactly happened in those texts and hearing it from different points of views. Then again, both forms of texts describe their reality in opposite ways.

“I was just humming the National Anthem in the morning when Miss Narwin wants to tell me that I’m disturbing the class by humming along with it.” (Page 13 inn Nothing but the Truth )This evidence provided proves that Philip has every right to hum the National Anthem because it’s a free country. “Philip was just being very disrespectful to everyone else in the class by interrupting in the middle of the National Anthem with his humming.” (Page 14 in Nothing but the Truth) They both give off their perception of their truth on the reality of the situation because Miss Narwin supposes that it was extremely rude of Philip to hum during the Star-Spangled banner, but Philip thinks he has every right to hum during it and in a way he does. In conclusion, this talked about the same situation, but now it is from two different points of view. One is from Miss Narwin, and the other is from Philip.
