Personal Narrative: Another Day On Mars

Today was no regular day on Mars, it was the day that I make history to return to Earth. I flutter my heterochromatic caramel and blood colored fully lashed eyes open to the rings of my alarm clock. I let out a deep sigh having to realize that I have to live another day on Mars. My hands reach for a little ring shaped gadget that I soon attach to my nose for oxygen. Why can’t there be a layer of oxygen around Mars for me to breathe at ease? I shower the dirt off my valentine tinted skin and prepare my bag to attend school. I glance at my feminine and slim figure at the mirror, thinking. I stare at my mahogany, silky, and straight hair wondering what hairstyle I should arrange it to. I proceed to put my hair up into a ponytail with a braid on the side as an accent while I reveal my pointed ears.

The delicious bitter smell of my breakfast filled my lungs which makes my rosy pink doll like lips quiver. I chirped out pleasantries as he begins to explain what I will be eating. On my plate was filled with color, but mostly with greens because of my love for the color. I consume the meal and begin to wander off into space. I always had loved how Earth is, even as a little toddler I would begin reading upon books about Earth. I heard that there is oxygen everywhere and that it grew plants. The ground would be green, the water would be crystal blue, and the sky would be baby blue filled with white things called clouds. It’s such a shame, I wish that I lived there instead of on Mars where there is no life at
