Scott and the rest of his 100 person team have been stranded without resources while exploring the newly discovered Nexus solar system. They are forced to land on another planet and try to survive. The team decides that a Planet much like Earth called Nexus Sub 6 would be the best to land on.
“How much longer do you think we will last?” Amy, one of Scott’s good friends, asked.
“A month maybe two,” replies Brad, another friend of Scott’s.
“We will make it until someone from Earth can help us Brad,” Jessica, the last of Scott’s good friends, says. The team of a hundred is down to about just forty five and shrinking. They have tried to explore before but none of the exploration groups have come back. Everyone just said that dangerous, short lasting storms took the teams out, but Brad and Amy argued that there was no way a storms like those could hit every group and they can’t see the storms. After about another month of lowering resources the 25 left on the team is forced to explore as a big group.
“Okay,” Scott says as he begins his speech to the rest of the team, “ I know most of the team is here right now, but we only have one choice. We need to keep exploring and try to find more resources.” Most of the team starts yelling and arguing. “Hey!” yells Scott,

They head for a big, treacherous mountain about 5 miles away from their base camp. On Nexus Sub 6 there is breathable air and nothing that is much different from Earth except for the resources they need. The team slowly made their way to the base of the mountain they call Mt. Retain. The team stays at the base of the mountain for a night and then they set out to get over the mountain in the following days. They find a good path up and then through the mountain that the search groups must have made while traveling Mt. Retain.
