Odysseus being the royal leader of Itaica came with many responsibilities, resulting in his departure from his kingdom and participation in the Trojan War. Despite leaving his kingdom to join the war, Odysseus persevered with remarkable resilience from within. In Homer's 'The Odyssey,' various traits are prominently displayed, notably intelligence, courage, resilience, and unwavering determination. The anticipation of a lengthy journey could potentially evoke feelings of worry or anxiety in him. Odysseus' sense of responsibility and wisdom garners admiration from those around him. Odysseus displays his responsibility and wisdom in "The Odyssey" when he devises a cunning plan to escape from the Cyclops Polyphemus by blinding him while he sleeps, ensuring the safety of his crew. Although there've been many rough obstacles, Odysseus seems to be alright after those long twenty years of being away from home. Despite facing numerous formidable obstacles, Odysseus appears to have weathered the challenges of his twenty-year absence from home. Odysseus' admirable qualities are greatly enhanced by his profound intelligence. Being a leader, Odysseus gains valuable learning experiences from navigating through challenging situations. The wisdom gained from these experiences enables Odysseus to navigate through obstacles that are uniquely challenging and beyond the experience of others.
