A Maze Short Story

A maze has many different paths you could travel, b ut only one way out. We make life choices like classes to take, your grades, extra-circulars you do, and people you hang out with, and these decisions change the course of your path. We all ha ve a goal; whether short term or long term we have a one goal, to get out of the maze and reach our de stination. Mazes often have obstacles just like in life we have jump through hoops, and run around in circl es; but if we want something bad enough we will do what it takes.

The special program I was in; was almost pulled, like a carpet, from under me. My short ter m goal of getting my associates in high school changed, by one wrong turn. I was talking to my ad visor and was told my plan was thrown off. I was going to have to take classes at night, in summer, and pay for everything. I was terrified. The though t of having to pay for school while still being in high school with no job was a scary thought.
I had to fix my problem. I had no choice if I wante d to continue on my correct path to get out of my maze. I was scared but I needed to go talk to m y professor to see if there was anything to do to e arn my two points to pass the class.
