-The love between the couples in Midsummer Night’s Dream Draft In A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, there are two couples. Which is Hermia and Lysander & Helena and Demetrius. Lysander and Hermia was a couple since the beginning of the book but not for a whole story. Also, Helena and Demetrius weren’t a couple until the end of the story. Though at the end, Hermia and Lysander & Helena and Demetrius got to be a couple at the end of the story. Because of the potion that Puck made that will make the person to fall in love with the first one that he saw and he put on both Demetrius and Lysander’s eyes and they started to love Helena. But it was not what he needed to do. He just needed to put on the Demetrius’s eyes. But Puck put the potion on Lysander’s eyes by accident because Puck was only told from Oberon to put the potion on the Athenian’s eyes and haven’t told anything that describes about the person that he want Puck to put the potion at all. It is also because of Helena who thought Lysander was dead or injured and tried to wake him up. Because of this, Lysander woke up and he saw Helena as the one that he saw and she became the one that he is going to fall in love through the potion. …show more content…
But in the middle of the story, Puck went to put a same potion as Lysander on Demetrius’s eyes to fix things that he had done wrong which was a bad idea because this actually made things more complicated. After Puck puts the potion, Helena came and did the same as Lysander so, Demetrius woke up and saw Helena as the first one that he saw and fallen love. Through this, Lysander and Demetrius both loves Helena. Demetrius and Helena now loves each other but they are not a couple at this time at all because Helena is thinking that Hermia, Lysander and Demetrius are all tricking Helena and having fun of
