In the article, Diagnostic Reliability of MMPI-2 Computer-Based Test Interpretation, a study was completed to compare the diagnostic interpretations and provide suggestions that vary based on the different computer-based test interpretations (CBTI). The study performed was based on the Minnesota Multiphase Personality Inventory (MMP) that was used basically for psychological suggestions and judgements. The basic idea behind the study was to provide information that would support the diagnostic reliability of the MMPI-2. The results provided came from computers and various psychological assessments. The people that used were members of the Society for Personality Assessment. The survey was based on way that those people use the CBTIs and different ethical issues that are faced. The survey provided the evidence that the MMPI-2 was one of the most frequently used inventory tests that is used during personality assessments. The other information provided by the study was based on the CBTI and it being used for psychological scoring. The study provides information supporting the various interpretations of the MMPI-2 and explains how that whether human or computer interpretation that the description of the assessment generally focuses on the likely symptoms and the behavioral pattern of the examinee. The results from the assessments provide a clinical diagnosis for the examinee, also. The Q-Sort Method is used for rating the frequencies based on the level of importance and relevance. The method used for the study was based on the raters, the different types of instruments which was based on the MMPI-2, Diagnostic Q-Sort, and CBTIs. The MMPI-2 is a self report measure that consists of 567 true/false items. The MMPI-2 is used to measure personality.
