In the Barack Obama speech (44th President of U.S.), (Obama’s Inaugural Address), he tells how America is today. Obama’s purpose was to tell America that he is here to make a change to the way society is. His audiences is America and use a motivational tone to illustrate the change he wants to visualize. In the speech, Obama could make a change.

In the first paragraph, Barack Obama shifts to using metaphors explaining why he’s here and why he doing his speech. The reason why this paragraph deals with because he says, “ grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors.” This quote means that he was showing gratitude and trust this nation.
