Throughout reading the novel ’A Rose for the ANZAC boys’, by Jackie French. The text informs the reader on how egregious the conditions at World War one were. The author shows this by using authentic text of World War one through fictitious character’s epistolary. The composer also shows evidence by what Midge had herd the officer said about the soldiers.
