Post Thirty Years war left France looking for a new leadership style that would give plenty of stability. What France received was Louis XIV, who would reign under the new absolute monarchy government. During Louis’ reign, divine rights controlled rank in society. This left many confused on why they were picked to be at the bottom of society, and why the king was given his power. Jean Domat, a royally appointed juror by king Louis helped explain a better understanding of the new system of governance to the people of France in his writings.
The ironic part of Sitch's film The Castle confirmed the audience's ideas about the class divide between the working and upper classes, a patriarchal household, and ‘Australian Battler’ characteristics. Collective and individual assumptions have the ability to affirm and shape ourselves, our cultural beliefs and how we reflect on a person’s identity. The Castle is a satirical comic directed by Australian satirist Rob Sitch in 1997 that revolves around the stereotypical working-class Australian family called the Kerrigans and their battle with a higher authority, the Barlow Group. Democracy is a form of government in which power lies with the people. This means that the people of the said community can either rule directly or indirectly by electing officials to make decisions for the betterment of the people. Democracy is an aspect that can be included in many different governments including, republics, monarchies, and theocracies. In America today, democracy is something we take pride in. This form of government had to start somewhere, however, and ideas of democracy can be shown in many early documents written by some of the first peoples to colonize the Americas.
The Primary objective of all leaders should be to control citizens. A society that allows authority to be challenged will never succeed. This source depicts an authoritarian or totalitarian view of what a governing body should look like. The author suggests that the primary objective of government should be the “control of the citizens”, and therefore that the individuals should entirely obey said government.

Since the beginning of the human existence, man has always dominated and ruled over one another be it empires, corporations, or small groups. Authority and obedience has always been a factor of who we are. This natural occurrence can be seen clearly through the psychological experiments known as The Milgram Experiment and the Stanford Prison Experiment. Both of these studies are based on how human beings react to authority figures and what their obedience is when faced with conflict.

The boys are all stranded on the island with no adults, they try to make a sustainable and non fearless government system, the government system falls, and made Jack turn ‘evil’ and go his unsustainable government system way. When Jack starts to lose his innocence, he put some clay on his face to show that he was starting to turn to the chaos or the party side of things.
Throughout the year we’ve learned and looked upon many different social views. The sociological concepts such as social interaction ,sex and gender, religion, race and ethnicity, and deviance are very important to society and have many social effects. My favorite tv show Law and Order(Special Victims Unit) covers and demonstrates these concepts in majority of the episodes. The show Law and Order consists of real life situations and issues which causes many different societal views or opinions throughout the show. Social interaction is one of the biggest sociological concepts.

The Leviathan’s state can be seen as a form of social control as they applied regulations as a formal institution. For instance, the government prevented violence or anomie in a society through law and order. These regulations are internalized by society as the socialization of norms and values. Socialization develops behaviour of what is right and wrong set by a society. This established a foundation of order within a society.
